Why don't I see any companies mentioned or salary ranges in the job descriptions posted on your site?
We often get asked why we omit client information and target salaries from job listings. There are several reasons for this. We prioritize protecting our clients’ privacy and the exclusivity we have for each role. As for salary details, the answer is simple: it varies. Sometimes, clients rely on our expertise to determine a target salary based on the talent they seek. Other times, companies have a fixed budget but are flexible on other job aspects. In many cases, salary depends on the candidate’s experience, which can differ significantly.
Is there a cost to this service?
No. Our services are completely free for candidates.
What should I include on my resume?
We recommend tailoring your resume for each role you apply for, as it reflects how you market yourself. For junior candidates, highlight your education prominently and include a skills section near the top with bullet points listing relevant platforms/software. For senior candidates, focus on including only the most relevant and impactful experience. Overall, keep your resume concise and easy for hiring managers to quickly scan and assess your fit for the role.
I am trying to break into a new industry, how can I do that?
Switching industries requires mastering the art of showcasing transferable skills. Create tailored resumes and cover letters that align your experience with the new role or industry. In your cover letter, explain why you’re transitioning and highlight how your background equips you with the skills needed for the position.
Does SelekIT offer resume consulting services?
We don’t provide resume consulting services.

Once you submit your resume, our recruiters will review your background and skills to identify a match with our current openings. If we find a fit, we’ll reach out to discuss the role, the client, and your qualifications.
